Shaheen Wirk is the founder and portfolio manager for healthcare hedge fund Palkon Capital Management. Previously, Dr. Wirk was senior analyst at Bridger Capital hedge fund, where he analyzed and invested in health care and medical technology companies.  Wirk earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in biology and a joint degree of Doctor of Medicine and Master of Business Administration (MD / MBA)  from Duke University.  He is an active supporter of the Robertson Scholars Program and the Brant Walton Memorial Fund, also known as the Dream Hope Believe Foundation.
