Erik Michielsen founded Capture Your Flag to provide ambitious professionals a Near Peer Learning resource to more fully realize career and life aspirations.  An expert interviewer, Michielsen facilitates knowledge sharing by interviewing a set of up and coming leaders annually, charting their development over time so viewers may find relatable stories to gain insight into how aspirational careers actually develop.  Interviews are segmented by question, creating knowledge rich and thematic driven video learning experiences used by millions worldwide.

Before Capture Your Flag, Erik honed his passions for interviewing, emerging technology, and knowledge sharing as an executive with boutique research firm ABI Research, where he advised the world's leading media and technology firms on next-generation market opportunities.  Erik has appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, FOX News, and spoken at major conferences worldwide.  He guest lectures to leading academic programs across the country, including Columbia University, Duke University, and Vanderbilt University. He is an advisor and board member to non-profit Kilifi Kids and its mission to eradicate child malnutrition by using mobile health solutions.  He holds an MBA from Duke University and a BA in Economics from the University of Michigan. Erik loves competing in both cooking competitions and long distance races, including both the 2009 and 2010 New York City marathons.

Andrew Osborne - Videographer / Editor

Andrew has a B.F.A. in Film and Television Production from the Savannah College of Art and Design.Andrew Osborne has been involved in film, photography and digital media for over ten years.  He has a background in film direction and editing from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and has focused on telling powerful stories.  Andrew has worked on projects ranging from featured films to non-profit documentaries.  He recently was the associate producer on the feature film Toe to Toe that premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and is currently playing on Netflix and Showtime.
