« Finding Joy Doing Self-Directed Independent Work - Shaheen Wirk »

In Chapter 12 of 17 in his 2012 Capture Your Flag interview, hedge fund analyst Shaheen Wirk answers "What Do You Enjoy Most About What You Do?"  Wirk notes he enjoys and does well at self-directed independent work.  He enjoys wrestling with problems trying to find answers in his hedge fund analyst investment research work.  Wirk gives an example of how he operates when attending industry conferences, gathering information to add into his investment models and hone his point of view.  Shaheen Wirk is a senior hedge fund analyst for Bridger Capital focused on pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device investment research and analysis.  Wirk earned his BS in Biology and Joint MD / MBA degrees from Duke University.  He co-founded the Dream Hope Believe Foundation / Brant Walton Memorial Fund to provide grants to children and young people who have lost parents to cancer.
